Moveable Feast. Wouldn't we all like to say that we had an apartment in Paris? Ironically, Bernadette, one of our longtime readers has one and doesn't get to visit too often. Rather than sell it, she is always on the lookout for renters so that it will be there when she decides to step across the pond for good and live on croissants and cafe au lait as she writes her great American novel.

We knew about her plight and have long asked her for pics. She obliged us this week as she is looking for tenants again. In return for getting to post her baby, we offer up her pitch which is currently on Craigslist. We just want to know, where is the bedroom??? (Thanks, Bernadette!) MGR

£725 - FAB location-live in the heart of Paris--just bring your toothbrush! (Paris France)

Write that novel! Get that new job in telecom! If you are interested in a six month or more furnished rental in a charming and clean flat in the center of Paris, 2 minutes from the Pompidou Center, 10 minutes from the Louvre, 15 minutes from Place St. Michel....come stay in my furnished flat! It's absolutely quiet even though it's on the busiest street in the Les Halles, Chatelet area. Rent is 1100 euros a month (or 725 pounds sterling).

It's a fifth floor walkup (the elevator should be installed this year, it's been voted by the owner's association) and is available mid-June for six months or more. All kitchen utensils and linens are furnished, the flat is perfect for a busy professional. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a pull out double bed in the living room. The bathroom has a sabot bath/shower. The "American" style, open kitchen has a microwave/convection and two burner electric stove...but since you are in the center of the city, you find yourself usually out and about instead of inside--plenty of take out just on the street and a 5 minute walk from the pedestrian market street rue Montorgeuil. Not to worry, though, if you are really a chef (the tenants last year were both attending culinary school!) you can manage!

Write for more details or to arrange a visit or call me in New York to make arrangements! 001 917 287 7938 if you are ready to move!

No agency fee. Direct from owner.
