We love a little postcard art here at Apartment Therapy. It's a record of your travels (or of the travels of those close to you) and a cheap way to decorate. So we were pleased to find just one more example of decorating with postcards for your inspiration:
As featured at IKEA Family Live, postcards cover the wall behind the sofa in this home. The mode of display? Those appear to be clear plastic shower curtains with pockets for holding photos and postcards. But why not use them in the living room to show off your travels?

Now, that's a clever idea!!
They look kinda gross and cheap, I think. Affixing the postcards to the wall with removable adhesive looks a lot more polished, IMO.
A bit tacky and there is soooo much going on w/ the colour, texture and multi patterns.
I'm sorry, but you need to do more research before posting. A quick look at the supplied link told me that the display is, in fact, NOT made with a shower curtain. Ivana, the woman in the photo, explains, "The postcard wall works because each card is the same size and fits easily into ready-made plastic display sleeves, which I’ve connected together."
This is a very interesting idea, but I think could probably use some refining. Have you ever considered printing the post cards on the shower curtains? This way you could make the art a little more appealing, yet still create the desired look and feel.

It's tacky.
I have to agree with mostly everyone. This is tack city! Not only is the glare from the plastic annoying and cheap looking but there is just so much going on with pattern and color. This is headache inducing. Invest in small frames from Ikea or the dollar store and this would look a million times better than plastic ever could.
Uh, no. But I like her style otherwise.
I don't like this look above very much, but I have used a plastic pocketed shower curtain in my bathroom to great success. Picture several dozen retro pulp fiction book covers in every pocket, for covers like "Office Sinner! The frank story of every young girl who works in an office... side by side with men!" or "Shameless Playgirl" from floor to (near) ceiling.
In a small bathroom, it really makes a quirky impact. I love it not only because I can display my pulp fiction cover collection, but also because the plastic shower curtain is clear aside from the postcard-sized pockets, so it allows a lot of light through the curtain.
