Pottery Barn's new catalogue

So, just as we were loathing Pottery Barn for their shoddy quality, not so great prices and the ability to always jump on last year's design-band wagon, the new catalogue came in the mail. The early fall catalogue, with it’s up to the minute “global design” cover in shades of persimmon and terra cotta (their shades, our sarcasm) boasted with a promise of “over 200 new items inside”. We checked it out ready to hate everything, but have to hand it to the Folks at Pottery Barn for pulling us in with some pretty cool new items. Here’s what we liked:

  • TESS CONSOLE $299.00: Love the angled shelf for books

  • Portola desk $599.00: The center swings back to reveal the writing desk.

  • GILLES HALOGEN TASK LAMP $149.00: A nice take on the desk swivel lamp

  • MUSEO SHELF $79.00: Simple, clean shape for the walls.

  • Paperwhite diffuser $32.00: love, love, love the stick method of getting a room scent, but the price is usually too high. These just might be worth a try.

  • STUDIO PITCHER $22.00: Beautiful shape for lemonade or flowers.
