Toothbrushes. That's what we think of when we hear anyone mention the brand Preserve -- those 100% recycled plastic toothbrushes we used to see at Trader Joe's. But Preserve carries other products -- recycled (disposable) plates and utensils, for one -- and, now, a line of kitchen products called Preserve Kitchen. At first glance, we like the array of colors -- and, of course, we like the fact that the whole line is made from 100% recycled #5 plastic and 100% post-consumer recycled paper. This is especially cool because #5 plastic can be tough to recycle, and it is also considered to be one of the safer (non-leaching) plastics. Preserve Kitchen is available exclusively at Whole Foods. Have you purchased any of these items yet? We're curious to know what you think!
