You know, I personally never really think to hang a curtain in the bathroom. Sure, blinds or a roller shade. But never a curtain. I do, however, love the look of these delicate sheer curtains hanging in the bathrooms pictured:
A few of the examples above are cafe-style curtains. They're wonderful for the bathroom because there isn't much length to them and they cover only the portion of the window where one desires privacy. The rest of the window is free for letting in as much daylight as possible.
Do you have curtains in the bathroom? If so, what are they like? If not, what do you do instead?

Curtains are pretty much the last thing I notice in 3&4. Such nice bathrooms!
I like the touch of yellow in the 4th picture. And, I have that exact bucket w/ lid that's on the floor. I think it's one of "those" buckets from way back.
Is #3 a tea towel? Does anyone have experience making curtains out of grandma's vintage linen tea towels? How did it go? I'd love to see some pics...
I'm asking because I currently don't have curtains on my kitchen or bathroom windows and I'm looking for ideas
I like #1. The others ... well, there's a sort of grandma's musty cottage feel to half-curtains, in my opinion. With its contemporary pattern, #5 is all right (probably better in daylight), but #4 gets into that grandma zone. And #2 is just ugly.
I love the third photo, too. It does look like a tea towel, or maybe a linen hand towel laid flat across the rod? Clever.
I wish I had a window in my bathroom to put a curtain on!
