What do you think of when you hear "red squares, yellow triangles and blue circles"? It could be a new marshmallow arrangement for a certain breakfast cereal but not for this discussion. It may take you back a few years to your nursery days, playing and building with blocks and brings up more than a few questions for the design minded:
Are primary colors too juvenile? Can you design an entire room with almost only primary colors? How much moderation is needed?
I love primary colors but I do think the type of room needs to be considered carefully before you go crazy with the red, yellow and blue. What's your take?

Paint Color: Behr's Moon Rise White W-F-700 would be a perfect white for primary colors to work their magic.

White Enamel Flatwa...
sigh....... i would love those floors
@Lisa Hunter - I totally, whole-heartedly disagree.
Love, love, love primary colors! I have a 1925 home with hardwood floors and never-painted wood trim throughout, so we're always working with that. We love bold colors, and whenever we've finally made it down beneath all the layers of wallpaper, we've found that the first layer of paint on the original plaster was painted something bright. We've got a red kitchen, yellow halls, a green bathroom, two bright blue bedrooms, and a paler green bedroom. We do restrain from putting a LOT of primaries in one room, though. Looking forward to painting the dark brown exterior someday!

This is a friendly suggestion to whomever creates the amazing collages.
Although almost everyone has a cowhide rug, and they are in style ( I have 2 in my house). I think it's being over used. I have seen one in basically every single collage thus far.
We are having a little one in the spring and intend not to paint the room anything but bright white and let the primary colour toys, mobiles, etc. do the decorating for us!
That Paul McCobb piece is quite a tease.
The Ikea PS Stuga rug has been discontinued. It can be bought at the Ikea Burbank store (any probably any Ikea store) for 50% off in the As-Is section - $149.
