Last weekend's Indie Mart had a bunch of talented crafters and artists on hand that were new to us, including Maria Puopolo of Hello There Friend. We loved her artwork, comprised of nature-inspired ink drawings on colored paper, nestled between layers of resin to create a floating effect over the wood block background...

When viewed head-on the simple designs of each piece are appealing, but take on a more complex, multi-dimensional look when seen at an angle. All pieces are available here, and more work can be seen at the Hello There Friend website.
