Sonning Eye, the largest private island in the Thames River, is for sale for $11.7 million. The 5.5-acre island about 40 miles west of London includes a restored 17th century mansion with 10 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and 6 reception rooms. 21st century upgrades include security cameras, a gym, and a spa complex.
