Project by: Nicole White
Location: Sunrise, Florida
Nicole told us about this Master Bedroom project: Our client Janeka is a fashionista and she wanted her master bedroom to be a reflection of that. To do that, we wanted to showcase her love of both trendy and vintage pieces.
We pulled the color of her accent wall from a favorite jacket - which we also featured in the room on a fashion form. A vintage inspired chandelier holds center court in the room alongside mirrored nightstands. Every fashionista needs an oversized mirror so of course we have one propped up against a wall. For the finishing touch, we added a houndstooth rug and a classic black and white duvet adorned with colorful throw pillows.
Thanks, Nicole!

Nomade Express Slee...
That is a great accent wall. It looks designed and intentional, not like they got tired of painting or realized they picked the wrong color. I love that it doesn't go all the way up or down.
I'm inspired. A great look.
borderline over the top (like a movie set) yet still looks comfortable.
I would LOVE to live here! Great job balancing fun and classic without going over the top.
This looks so fabulous...I love everything about it....I have been looking for a mannequin to hang jewelry on....where did you find yours. Thanks
Thanks for the great feedback guys. We found the mannequin at Home Goods. They have large ones and smaller ones to use just for jewelry. You can see all the details on this project, including the before photos, on my blog: http://www.livelaughdecorate.com/2013/01/a-seductively-sexy-master-bedroom-reveal.html
Are there photos of yourself over your bed?
Gorgeous!
This is my feeling, it feels just a liiiiiittle over-produced/styled. But it's certainly stunning, and I guess as the client lives in it and musses it up a little, it'll lose that movie-set look.
Absolutely beautiful! Couple of questions, is that the Venezia chandelier from Z Gallerie? Also, the bench at the end of your bed... did you reupholster/paint it yourself and if so, can you tell me what kind of paint and fabric you used?
Pretty room. I just hate the term "fashionista" !
Where did you get the mirrored bedside tables?
hey guys. @Edmund, those are photos of the client, not myself. @thelemonofpink that's the room on the very day we finished installation, the client has definitely mussed it up a tad and it's looking very lived in, but still very glam. @ME mirrored nightstands are from cityfurniture.com, the bench is from overstock.com and the chandelier is indeed from Z Gallerie.
Thanks Courtney. Yes, chandelier is from Z Gallerie, bench is from overstock.com
These are from CityFurniture.com but they were on clearance so may no longer be available
where is the rug from!?
The rug is from Overstock.com
Dreamy!

Love this room! Can you be a little more specific about the mirror from City Furniture? I browsed their website and found this one below but wasn't sure if it was the same in these photos, I can't tell from the photo on their site. Thanks and great job!!!!
