Great Furniture & Architectural Details in the West Village

Professional Project

Project by: Casey DeBois
Location: New York, New York

Look, the ceilings and molding in this Manhattan apartment sure aren't hurting the look of this space. But with a lot of white walls in here, it's easy to see how a killer collection of furniture and art can be the only thing a space needs to make it sing. Check out this pro project for inspiration on how to make a white-walled space something special.

If you don't have the ability (or desire) to paint the walls in your space, you might consider paying extra attention to the furnishings you buy or make. You don't need many, but some seriously killer pieces arranged just so can make for a beautiful space without a huge investment in paint or wallpaper. Originally from Miami, this apartment dweller moved to the West Village, and is actually on their way to California next. But it's a beautiful example of investing in pieces to make the most impact. Want something you see in this apartment? Sounds like the owner is wanting to make a clean slate in the next place, and is selling just about everything on Apartment Therapy's Classifieds.

Thanks, Casey DeBois!
