#3 is completely brilliant, especially if you click over and read how she did it. The tree is the original wood veneer (which was apparently too dinged up to completely save). It looks amazing. Her choice of color for the dresser and trim, and her decision to leave the veneer on certain parts is something I haven't seen before.
Number tree. . . er, three is good; the rest, no thanks.
