Last week I wrote about a thrift store lamp makeover featuring graphic lamp shades depicting "man" and "woman" restroom symbols. Suffice it to say, the shades caused quite a debate! That debate caused me to think about the use of bold symbolic elements in the home. While doing some research I found Tabisso's work.
Along with an entire alphabet of chairs, Tabisso has also created 20 lamps shaped like different punctuation marks, including a question mark (?), equal sign (=), and my personal favorite, the semi-colon (;). I mean, really, who doesn't love a good semi-colon? It says "But wait; there's more!" And now you can say it in lamp form.
If symbols are your thing, check out the full collection at Tabisso.
