Puppy Tweets: Because Dogs Need to Tweet

Pin it button big

We love Twitter, really...we know that more and more people are on Twitter these days and it is a fine social networking avenue. Recently we posted about toddlers tweeting, now the next tweeting frontier seems to be pets. Dogs, specifically. Enter Mattel's Puppy Tweets.

Puppy Tweets is a small sound and motion sensor equipped device that is worn on a dog’s collar and translates their barks or activities into Twitter posts. From the reporting we have seen, the device apparently communicates with a receiver that connects to your PC , and only posts ‘pre-recorded’ tweets based on what the dog is doing (quite similar to the Twoddler actually).

Puppy Tweets will be available this Fall and will have an MSRP of $29.99.

What do you think? Will you be purchasing Puppy Tweets?
