Beautiful range of colors. I've been working more purples into my living room. The bedroom shown, however, is a bit too goth vampire for my tastes.
Woo, love that wallpaper. We have purple coming into our house, a little at a time.
I've been looking for some Aubergine velvet draperies for by bedroom - Thought I saw some in the PB website, but alas...
I LOVE the flower chair!
Just painted my craft room a deep plum color. LOVE IT!
we just painted our bedroom SW's "Blackberry" and LOVE IT.
As a lover of all things purple/aubergine, I'm excited about what might be on offer for fall!
In my opinion the best wall color I have ever used is Sherwin Williams River Rouge. It is a dull brownish plum and I never get tired of looking at it in my dining room. With pale turquoise and olive green vases/lamps...divine.
I can easily imagine the Finn Juhl chair in a kid's room. A very, very, very nice and pricey kid's room.
Wasn't aubergine the hot couture color a few seasons back? Maybe it still is. All I know is that there were some fabulous, plummy/plumby handbags out there in designerland.
In Italy I am still seeing lots of purple and violet. Especially in house-wares and fabric! All the women in Rome, still wear black - though!
I purchased a sea-life table-cloth and it, too, had purple! Sounds weird, but it works.

So, instead of redoing all of my acessories I incorporated some "purple" lavander flowers in my bathrooms.

Instantly trendy!
Purple has been the rage in Europe for a while now from fashion to home dec. I'm loving it.
@elle: your links don't work. Looks like your link format/naming convention was changed.
Oops! I tried to be subtle by using parantheses and it messed everything up!

Sorry to have to post it twice!
A new kitchen was out of the question when I moved into a new house last fall, so I painted my kitchen purple to tone down some nasty early-90s oak cabinets that were previously..."enhanced" with a bloodcurdling burnt orange. These shots are mid-makeover, so please excuse the mess, but you see the major improvement, right?
