In perhaps one of our favorite tweets we read last week, someone astutely pointed out "Feathers are the new birds. Put a feather on it." Of course. Between the ones donning the hats and heads of royalty last week to the avian images of a bird's most enviable element starting to pop up on nearly everything, it would appear that feathers are starting to steal the show lately.

It does seem like a natural evolution (or would it be devolution?) that the popular graphic pop of birds would move to the more subtle yet still lovely feather motif. Certainly spotted in the hair and outfits of those who subscribe to the bohemian fashion style, we think feathers are a natural enough element that they can show up in a number of different house styles.
