This ingenious table by Netherlands designer Emma Klinkenberg is perfect for small dining areas — or those who like a little mental workout before meals.
The dynamic table top is formed by fifteen sliding puzzle pieces which open to provide storage for a variety of household objects. When you're done, simply slide the pieces back until they form a seamless plane again.
The oak wood table retails for 2,950 Euros and can be obtained through Klinkenberg's site: Emma Product Design

"Honey, Where did you hide the plates?"
Is there a piece that is removable that you then put back? If not, I don't understand how you attain a "seamless plane".
I like it though!
@Michael W: you can see the 15th piece on the photos here: http://www.emma.nl/puzzled/english/
