Designed with small space living in mind, Dan Lewis' Quad entertainment system works as a docking station for various components that can slotted into a space saving wall mounted solution. Integrated cable management and a housing that includes a Blu-ray DVD player and amplifier, the Quad reminds us of a design Bang & Olufsen would have put out in their heydays...
What is interesting about the design is the modular element, allowing possible mix and match of components to be added, replaced or temporarily switched out depending on what someone wants to use, allowing the process of upgrading as easy as plugging in a new component module. It also helps the wall unit is handsome, with a retro aesthetic that would compliment most homes. Hopefully we'll be seeing something like this at the upcoming CES instead of just a concept...it's an idea worthy of production.
