Sydney says the new pendant came from West Elm's end-of-year clearance and seems to be all sold out. Here's a close match to Sydney's porcelain dome pendant, this one with Moorish pattern and available for $129.
Looks like she picked up some new dining room chairs along with the pendant. Really lovely update, Sydney. And thanks to all you AT readers who offered suggestions!

That looks great! I like the chairs too.
I'm considering buying the same chairs for my dining room, which also has hardwood floors. But I'm concerned that the skinny legs will leave little circular indentations. Have you had any problems with yours? Would you recommend this type of chair for hardwood?
new pendant is very pretty. looks great all together. i rather like the old pendant to repurpose somewhere else.
yay nice changes.
beige wall depress me so, tho...
consider a paint job?
It's really a huge transformation!
I think the chairs do more for the room than the lamp, but the after is definitely better than the before! Excellent transformation.
great choices!
Love the lamp a lot!
I have similar chairs on hardwood, no problems so far, but not a lot of use yet either. (We did put felt slider pads on the bottoms, but maybe that was unnecessary.)

Thanks for the thumbs up!
I have not had problems with the chairs on the hardwood - they are new however! I have a chair from Kartell with similar legs and have had no problems, even without felt.
Walls are actually moss green, hard to tell in the photo ;)
