Flash cards are a great way to help kids learn and can also be a lot of fun. Their only real downfall is that flimsy cardboard box they come in. Once it's toast, the cards are sure to follow. Check out these handmade felt versions which are perfect for home or on the go.

For flashcards with more longevity, check these out by Sew Much Ado. The numbers and shapes have grommets in the corner to help hold them on a ring when they're not in use or keep them tied together in a bag if you're out and about town.

This is a great project for your own kids or for friends and family if you're looking for a project to make for baby showers or birthday parties. Make sure to hop over to Sew Much Ado for the full tuturial to make your own.
