That is a great idea! Until of course they are old enough to tear them down. But the first year, that is genius!
I have moved them a few times trying to find the perfect spot. Then I saw a magnetic hook for the fridge which works perfect. It is right next to the cabinet with all the baby food stuff.
Same place as the photo (when they are already dry!)
We hit upon the idea of using a basket on top of the fridge. Having them in the changing table/dresser was a pain to run in everytime we needed one.
A low drawer in the kitchen. Great fun for baby to open and empty, over and over again.
Genious! Why didn't I think of this (smacking my forehead). Till now our platicized, wipeable bibs lived on a magnetic hook on the side of the microwave. Handy but not very purty since they clash with our potholder which is also on a hook. The cloth bibs have lived in random spots around the house -- basket with diapers and wipes in living room, drawer in nursery, etc. Today is moving day, they will all be relocated to the back of the highchair!
We use a hook on high chair that has a pocket on the back for the storage bag the chair goes into for travel. Thats where I keep the bibs.
When he was doing bottles of milk, we would have a basket in his room of all of the cloth bibs. Now that he's on solids, I just have one bib and it's a rubber one (kiddopotamus bibbity---jj cole one for travel) and I put it on the drying rack after it's been cleaned off.
That is exactly where we put them too. Who knew I was so smart?
It took me a while to find the perfect spot, but I've recently cleared out a drawer in the dresser next to our kitchen table, and now keep bibs and washcloths in there (right near the highchair). We also keep a tub of wet wipes in there so I can give the high-chair a quick going-over after a particularly messy meal!
We attach them to the handle of the oven...not very original, but it works. And it adds a pop of color to our white oven, too.
We bought our son a little red shopping basket full of plastic food for his play kitchen. I stole the basket and put all of his bibs in it. It sits on our china cabinet with some colorful vintage dishes and cook books I got from my mom.
I made a little corduroy bag that ties to the back of the high chair to store bib, it works great!
