Our motto here at Unplggd goes a little something like this: "Spend on the things you can, but do the opposite when it comes to saving." TV stands, for example, need not be fancy aluminum or tempered glass when you can get a decent one for hundreds less. Here's our quick roundup of a some TV stands that won't leave a gaping hole in your wallet, leaving you plenty of room to splurge on other things, like a Playstation 3.

IKEA's TV solutions have always been plentiful and you can get a really cheap, sturdy one for around $70-$150. Pictured above the IKEA Stockholm TV Stand.

A personal favorite is the IKEA PS cabinet for $100. Its red vibrant industrial look gives a punch of fun into a sleepy living lacking colors. Plus, the aluminum slits help dissipate heat better than a closed cabinet would.

Or, if you're really looking to spend very little, consider a DIY project. Some guys at Home Theater Forum used some PVC pipe and wood to make a stand for under $50.

Have a cheap TV stand idea to share? We'd love to hear it!
