Our biannual trips to IKEA always include a few minutes admiring the fabrics and textiles. We love the color combinations and modern whimsy of many of the designs. We've admired many of the Barnslig fabrics on our trips and always thought they would be great for a quilt project. Apparently, we aren't the only ones who had that thought. Check out this homemade quilt made from various Barnslig fabrics.
What's great about these IKEA fabrics is that their inexpensive and get softer with each washing. We also loved the numbers pattern of the Siffror bedding set. Lacking any real sewing skills, we did the next best thing to making something ourselves and purchased this quilt made from Siffror bedding from Etsy seller stitchindye.
Any Ohdeedoh readers use IKEA fabrics for sewing projects? Please share!
