We've seen stroller/artist collaborations before, but this might be our favorite to date. Reader Adam wrote in with a tip about the new Quinny by Henrik Vibskov collection.

Who is Henrik Vibskov you're wondering? Vibskov, a Dane, is described by Quinny as a "design maverick" and is best known for his avant garde fashion collections. (He also makes short films, fine art installations and won a breakdancing competition as a kid.)

His limited edition collaboration with Dutch company Quinny is bright, bold and kind of daring and we really like the hyper-pastel color palette paired with black. We're less sure about the "design process" however: based on a modern-day fairytale...where all kinds of colourful figures, who are not accepted in the city, come
together. These odd figures start playing music in the woods and form a band. Their songs eventually
become very popular and they become world famous and through their music, become accepted by the
outside world.

This Cirque du Stroller marketing campaign (see an example below) seems unnecessarily elaborate to us, but perhaps it makes more sense to the mind of an artiste.

There are 18 items in this new line including stroller, pram, penguin footmuff, diaper bag, blanket, sunhat, sunglasses, umbrella etc. You can see the full line at Quinny Design. It's unclear what the general availability of the collection will be especially here in the states. So far we know it will be sold in several stores in Europe and at Seven in New York.

What do you think of these designs? Is there a fashion designer you'd like to see a stroller company collaborate with?
