Your Favorite Thing About Your Outdoor Space: The orange tree that we grew from the seed of an orange we ate the day we closed on our place...and the view, of course!
Biggest Design Challenge With This Space: The biggest challenge is providing enough shade from the sun. We have a toddler and needed to keep him cool and shaded, so we found a sandbox with a canopy. We also have a large umbrella that shades the entire deck when open.
Tips for Creating a Great Small Outdoor Space: Freshen your outdoor furniture with your favorite fabrics. I didn't like any of the ready made outdoor pillows I had seen, so I purchased my own outdoor fabric and made pillows and covers. I also repurposed a coffee bean bag as a cover for a basic planter.
Thanks, Rachel, and good luck!
