It seems many of us are in for a bit of soggy weather over the coming days. Clashing cold and warm fronts are provoking precipitation, and all-day-drizzle or serious storms are on the agenda for many parts of the map. Do you spend a rainy afternoon in gloom, or do you take advantage of the sun's shyness and tackle overdue indoor projects? Do you bring on the board games, or just get bored? We want to know!
Today's gray skies over Montreal have transported me back to primary school, when raindays meant indoor recess, the strange alternate universe of movie watching and card games galore. Noon hour felt like midnight in the darkness, and we all had special permission to stay up late. Maybe that is where my fondness for what some would call "dull days" comes from.
What's on my agenda this afternoon? Perhaps a few games of pick-up-sticks, at least a little cuddling with the cats, and probably a good round of packing for our upcoming move. I'll leave the garden and the out-and-about errands for another, sunnier day.
How about you?
