What kid doesn't love rainbows? I remember my own rainbow phase as a child which spanned many years. The bow shape makes for a perfect headboard.
This is a pretty simple DIY that makes a large impact in any room. And don't forget a set of sleeping eyes on the pillowcase. Another great idea that you can easy replicate using fabric paint or fabric markers. The pink tongue, of course, is optional!

ohmygosh. Is this too juvenile for an adults bed? I am in love.
Love.
Rainbow "phase?" This is one reason I was psyched to have a little girl - rainbows and unicorns excuse!
The pulling of the tongue is my favorite... you never have to make your bed again! love it!
the link you provided is not a DIY for the headboard. it's just a link to the person's website where they talk about the pillows. can you please correct the link to provide information for the headboard diy?
She didn't say it was a DIY, and if you read the blog, it appears to be a collaborative piece between an artist and the blog poster. I think it is just here for inspiration.
Okay, trying for husband's buy-in for one of these on OUR BED. So awesome!
