It's that time of year again, when we take everything off of our inspiration board and file it away for the coming influx of new eye candy. We do a lot of purging while we go through this process. Suddenly those owl lamp bases just don't seem as fresh anymore. But occasionally we do have one or two swipes that we can't bring ourselves to file away...

Apparently these are two such images as they've made it through the purge process not just once, but twice.

The top four colors on the second image are so elegantly beautiful and inspiring together....they're the same type of colors that i see in the hilly landscapes around Calgary, AB, where i recently relocated to. Coming from the lush greens of the west coast, i've gained a whole new appreciation of these refined and minimalistic golds and grays as i pass by the sparse hillsides on my way to the mountains.
Does anyone know what that fabric is?
The fabric looks similar to a donghia pattern
