In our experience, we've found that most kitchens will set themselves apart with one or two luxury appliances, whether they're espresso machines or swanky range hoods. A hood is a good luxury appliance to get, as it is quite prominent in most kitchens, and will set the tone for the rest of the appliances and the general look.
What we really like about Gutmann's Visual
range hood is that it simply looks amazing. There is a lot going on here so that this hood looks as minimal as possible. It's available in a variety of different configurations, from wall models to an island model. All of these models feature modern LED lighting and advanced filtration (950 m³/h). Instead of having a closed off body, this hood is rectangular and open, meaning that it won't loom over you while you cook. This is a nice touch.
This next hood is called the Doro by Oranier
and it looks quite modern. The surface of this hood is made out of black glass. The rim exhaust is almost invisible, but good enough for 915 m³/h of air power to clean up the air in your kitchen. It's got 4 bright LEDs, a 43dB noise level, and an LCD display.
Ultimately, the way you choose to highlight your kitchen is up to you. A luxury cooking range is also something great to have, but we've found that they can become very expensive very quickly. The trick is to choose a luxury appliance that won't break your budget.
