As the summer winds down, we start thinking about comfy things like pillows and throws. These raw silk ones from VivaTerra offer a pleasing, irregular texture, neutral color and the awesome not-too-cool, not-too-hot properties of silk.
The Sheesha pillows are designed by John Robshaw and inset with mirrors, breaking the monotony of what could be a humdrum brown pillow. The Peace Silk Throws are made from the silk of worms that feed on the wild castor plant, distinct in texture from that of worms that feed on the mulberry bush. It's a little softer, and the worms are treated better.
