The folks at Tiny Showcase have done it again - today they announced the launch of the Tiny Showcase Learning Press poster series with the release of this piece by Ray Fenwick. TS explains the series as "Loosely based on reality, mostly based on awesome, this new series was inspired by the educational posters that hung on the walls of your classrooms or the illustrations that filled up your children's encyclopedias. ONLY BETTER."
Keeping with Tiny Showcase's dedication to making art affordable, the poster is available for $12.

What a funny poster, and only $12?!? Wow!
Thank you. I must have this.
This poster is an almost dead-on hit of my feelings about eeriness and otherwordliness in life that have remained with me from childhood. However, it's also depressing and disheartening that a large portion of my sense of mystery in life has been broken down into tongue-in-cheek, indie-cutesy, "awesome"-infused artwork on a poster.
Anyone else feel this way?
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this poster dedicated to mystery takes all of the mystery out of mystery.
I have a weird combination of affectionate and annoyed feelings about this poster. But the kicker is, I read all the detail photos they offered, and ... DAH DAH DAH! There's a typo (the infamous "it's")!!!!!! I'm beginning to think it's the AT curse.
Sorry; I kid because I love.
