Amazing fields on the way into the city
Grand Forks, ND
None, I stay with family
Description: When I turned 18 in 2000 I've always wanted to travel but since I didn't have a car until recently, it was hard to get away. My escape is just over the Canadian border into the U.S. - Grand Forks, ND; I have family that lives there so lodging isn't a problem. Grand Forks is a nice small and quiet town; even if I need to get away for a day, it is there right over the border...
Lincoln Park; it used to be a neighbourhood of homes prior to the 1997 flood; homes were damaged in the flood and had to be demolished. Now it's a city park
...It has great nightlife, it's a college town, great parks and wonderful shopping. Grand Forks never seems to disappoint me! It may not be Hawaii or Greece, but North Dakota is my little piece of heaven when I need to get away from it all.
