We know that there are plenty of skilled artisans among Re-Nest readers, but we're curious to know in what specific areas our readers find themselves working. Do we have more needleworkers or woodworkers? Potters or painters? Tell us what YOU do!

It's a shame we can answer only one... I think most have more than one passion. :)
I agree, we should be able to chose more than one! I knit, garden, and refurbish furniture, but not all at the same time :)
I have many skills, the joy of being involved with technical theatre during high school (and growing up with a dad who considered building new stairs to be a weekend project). I can sew/knit/crochet/macrame/whatever, do woodworking (can't make anything more complicated than basic furniture, though. Most of my carpentry skills are more of the building a house sort).
Oh, an unlisted skill of mine is in working with electricity. I have a lot of fun making old speakers work and rewiring things.
I wish I could do pottery. That's one skill I'm envious of.
Flawed survey. Most people who craft have more than one skill set/area.
I have more than one skill/passion - sewing, furniture refinishing, painting, gardening, and thrifting/repurposing.
I have more than one skill, but my biggest passion is baking and cooking.
My old passion was weaving, lately I do needle felting (more amenable to interruption by kids), and most recently I discovered I am able to build chicken coops! I also do almost all the indoor (wall) painting. Oh, and I cook!
Wish I could sew a straight seam, and I wish I could do upholstery and make drapes.
Agree with everyone - more than one passion. Gardening, needlecraft, baking, sewing, paper crafts etc...
I garden, upholster, sew (only upholstery and quilts), generally fix up old furniture, paint do pottery.
I wish I had the patience to knit...
@lazy_lurker- weaving is awesome! and upholstery isn't as hard as you think... just start with something that would have hit the curb anyway and you will be fine. There are tons of books out there. Use the old fabric as a pattern, use your chicken coop skills to help glue an old frame, and you'll be in business in notime! I suggest starting with a simple chair or ottoman and work from there! Good Luck!
My "other" is tile/glass mosaic work.
"Needlecraft" is vague - does it include knitting, or is it really meant for embroidery, crewel, etc.? I knit, can/preserve, garden, cook. I used to bake, but not so much anymore. I have quilted and hope to again some time. Ditto for embroidery. I'm interested in learning to bead and make jewelry, if I can find the time.
Oh, and brew. I've yet to make my own beer, but that's something I'd like to try some time. And work with stained glass - a friend with this skill has offered to instruct me, but she has even less time than I do!
i picked other because as everyone else has posted I have more than one. I love painting, I am a drywall finisher and I do amazing custom ceiling designs, i have an etsy shop that sells my vases turned into lamps and bottle sets, i refinish furniture and anything else I can get my hands on..... yep. I think theres more but it's late... lol

i really need to update my blog so I can post a picture of my ceilings....
I choose other as well because I do a wide variety. I knit, crochet, sew clothing(and other objects), I also make hammocks and dabble a little in woodworking.
i knit. does it fall into fashion or textiles? :)
Mosaic housewares! I like others feel i have many other skills as well: knit, crochet, sculpture, furniture, sewing, and a whole lot more. Chances are if you are crafty and skilled in one area, you have the desire and skills to learn more! I am thankful my job as an art teacher has helped me learn more because i am required to teach it?

Candle making is my current obsession.
A few show up on my blog and all of them in my Etsy store.
Sewing, knitting, gardening, woodworking, metal-smithing and jewelry making, and whatever else happens to cross my road at the right time! Up next? Quilting and cross stitch I hope!
Artwork; Printmaking, and drawing. I dream of the day I have a studio like above though.
Someday I hope to get better at sewing, knitting and upholstery!
