Reader Jamie sent us an e-mail, "I thought you might like this little project I just completed for my 16 month daughter. It doesn't really fit into the recent Great Outdoors theme but it still says summer to me."
Inspired by a tent tutorial on SewMamaSew, Jamie tells us, "I changed the design by sewing tunnels for the poles on the inside, sewing the top part of the entry, adding port-hole windows, and adding leather and wooden bead details."

Our favorite part is that the tent is no-sew as it is held together with grommets. Even if you are a novice sewer -- or can't sew at all -- you'll be able to tackle this fun project. Nice!

Thanks for sharing, Jamie.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Love this!!!
This is exactly the inspiration I need! I love love love the hanging beads and the fuzzy rug inside. And my little one would play peek-a-boo out those portholes for hours (okay, more like 5 minutes, but were talking 14 month old time here).
Very cute I love the beaded tie backs.
I love the colors of your rooms -- your house looks cool and refreshing.
(Or maybe the Texas summer heat is just bringing me down!)
Cute. I've been wanting to do this! Great inspiration!
I'd like to see a picture of the tunnels for the poles on the inside...
Ah, nevermind... I see them now in one of the photos. I can't wait to try making this!
Okay, I would like to know what type of fabric this is...
