ReadyMade: How to Make (Almost) Everything

The do-it-themselves gurus at ReadyMade magazine have compiled a selection of projects for eager students and experienced devotees of DIY in their book ReadyMade: How to Make (Almost) Everything. Dwell magazine says that the "authors do a noble job of documenting the pros and cons of each adventure." That well-balanced straight talk sounds like just what we need for our adventures in constructing phone book coffee tables or water bottle chandeliers. We are not yet at liberty to offer a book review; we just want to spread the word. If any of you have tried some of the book's projects, please let us know! We'll gladly accept insight into your successes, strong attempts, and possible failures, and would love to see any photos of processes and final products. If this is the first you're hearing about the book, you can purchase it for $25 at Random House (it's currently back ordered if you go through ReadyMade directly).
