This year, for the first time, a crew of the Apartment Therapy writers decided to participate in the Cure and blog it in real time. Tara, our amazing part-time writer in Boston, has been doing daily "Liveblogging" updates and a bunch of wonderful contributors from across the country (and beyond) are updating us weekly with their own "Cure Diaries. Jump through for links to all of their Cure stories (so far)...

Z2 iPod Dock and Wi...
I've been trying to blog the January Cure, but despite the fact that I'm participating I've only managed to blog on the weekends. This weekend was SO productive! Still working on the files (but I did get them unpacked... so that's a huge start!).

I'm in Cure-Fail mode, way off schedule, sitting in a messy apartment, trying to code HTML, wishing I had my blog up and running again so I could live blog my Curing, if I was actually still doing the Cure-ing... It sucks that once you get a little off track the guilt of all the days worth of things that you are not doing makes it really hard to put any effort in at all anymore.
ladykatey!! Ditch the guilt & pick up where you left off. Forget the blog & the HTML code for now. You cannot blog about what you have not accomplished so log off & get moving. It'll provide lots of blog fodder for later. Do it now. (and don't give me any backtalk, young lady!)
NOW MOVE IT!
I agree, forget blogging about it. Just do it for yourself and the well-being it'll bring, at whatever pace you can manage. Consider spreading out the Cure assignments over two or three months if that's more manageable.
I'm way behind at this point (still on media and the bedroom, haven't touched the kitchen yet let alone any files!) and have decided to use the cure as a guideline. Over a couple of months I will do everything on the schedule just choosing what I feel like doing that day. Having said that, I've done TONS so far! It's awesome! This has been a great kick in the butt. :)
Anyone else think the photo looks like a Wayne Tiebaud painting? It made me look twice :)
