Ok, we finally got our personalized Blackberry skin from Unique Skins in the mail; you may remember we posted about this last week. The quality of the image print is pretty impressive, but trying to get this skin to stick just right was a total pain as you can see from some of the images after the break...
Since the battery is on the back of the phone, the sticker comes in two pieces -- one for the outer frame and one of the battery. Unfortunately, because it comes in two pieces we had to line-up Lulu's (our dog) nose and tooth on either side. This made it hard to get it just right on all corners, which led to the unfortunate bunching on the upper right-hand corner.
The same kind of bunching happened on the front as well. Poop! But for $6, it's a pretty cool product if you want to temporarily snazz up your phone. Oh and we don't think you have to worry about any damage happening to the exterior of your phone due to the sticker. We've since taken the front sticker off and everything looked a-o-k.

Shaw's Original Fir...
It IS hard, ha! I was inspired by your post and ordered one too (I have the same BB, in red). I used a picture of some carbon fiber fabric, because I'm just that lame.
I got it on mostly straight, because I've played this game before with contact paper; the trick is to peel the backing back just a little, stick that bit down, peel a little more, stick that down, etc. If it starts to go wrong, gently peel it up and do that bit again. The little strips on the back gave me a lot of grief, yep..
I think I'll order another one, and consider this a practice run. Maybe a reddish woodgrain, hmmmm..
