- What I Love About My Small Home:
- My favorite aspect is the combination of the hardwood floors and natural lighting. Every room but the bathroom has a window, and the main bedroom has two! I love how bright the space is all day and the way the light reflects off the floor. It gives the apartment a warm, welcoming feel.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- I tend to collect things and I have a lot of posters and collectibles, so deciding which ones to display and which ones to store was and continues to be a big challenge for me.

These are the same photos as last year, save but one? Still like that DVD sign.
It's such a bright and happy place! I love bright and happy.
Love it. Bright and happy doesn't do it justice :-)
Great space! Love it all, especially the artwork. Is that a Batman lunchbox I spy in the kitchen?
2 bedrooms and 2 living areas in such a tiny space? Great effort!
HAHAHAH!! I love the DVD sign. I have a friend who collects and decorates with signs. :) What do you store in your bathroom cabinets, and how do you store it? I'm trying to set up a bathroom with similar cabinets.
Nice space...Love the shower curtain! where did you get it?
So jealous of the stone/tile in your washroom! It's divine!
I'm shocked that there's a guest room in such a tiny space... I'd want a bigger bedroom unless I had guests all the time. But I do love this bright, sunny space.
You had me at the Panther Football pillow!
Thanks, all!
Nailbunny - There are two new photos. Unfortunately this contest snuck up on me and I do not have time to take new photos right now. But nothing major has changed anyway, it's all basically the same as it was back then.
Phrasmotic - You know that's right.
Girl Jen - I love my sign, too. :) The top cabinet has what you see on the outside, then on the inside - mouth wash, floss, medicine, vitamins, sun screen. Below the sink I keep cleaning supplies, extra tissue, soaps, feminine products, and in the drawer - hair dryer, straightener, razors, and nail clippers. It's not a lot, so I don't have any additional storage within, everything is freestanding.
S.D. - The shower curtain is from IKEA.
KatieEstelle - It's a rental so there's not much I can do about that. But I do have guests frequently, so it's a major asset for me. :)
Cottie - Texas forever!
I loved the Panther Football pillow, too! Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!
Did you buy a Panthers' sweatshirt and make the pillow? I hadn't realized they had official merch. Good to know with my roommate's birthday coming up and our mutual love of FNL.
I love it. It's so refreshing to see ordinary homes that are well done and unique. That's why I always look forward to the Small Cool contest.
I like what you did with the fridge in the closet space there.
How is it possible to have that much space with 525sq ft to work with?? A full size stove and a dishwasher? I love it, very well done!! I happen to love the "R's" all around your space, too, since my name is Robyn, I am always looking for that letter!
I have the same space and you´ve given me so many ideas! Congrats! Great Home!
what on earth did they do with thes apt, to rent them out as a 2 bedroom... :-) anyway you made due it's good
I LOVE your apartment!
Too bad you didn't win, you were my favorite!
