- What do you love about your bedroom?:
- I have always wanted a bedroom with a window seat and bookcases. It took awhile, but I finally got it. I love the light and airiness of this room. In the winter, I love to sit on my window and watch the snow fall. Trees hug my building and my unit is on the third floor. So, in the summer, when the trees are in bloom, I sit at the window seat and watch the squirrels and birds play in the branches.
- What are your tips for creating a beautiful, healthy and organized bedroom?
- Make your bed! If I don't make my bed, it's a slippery slope because I can be messy. Plus, my space is small and, as such, a little clutter tends to grow exponentially
- In modern homes, bedrooms have become more than just a place to sleep; they can be a retreat, a home office, a library, a relaxation zone. What are some ways you make the most of your bedroom?
- My condo unit is in an older building and does not have a lot of closet space. I had my built-in unit made, in part, to help with the lack of storage. The fact that the window seat is my favorite nook to sit and daydream is a wonderful bonus.

Nice color combination -- restful yet bright. I also love your window seat/storage solution.
I absolutely love the round mirror over your bureau! The color combination is also so refreshing, with the various shades of blues and yellows!
I am itching to see an upholstered cushion for that window seat. It looks like it could become a super cozy place to sit and read.
Love the colors and the calmness of this room. As I peek through the door into your living room i also would love to see the full house.Very nice! :)
Nice, serene space. I love that it has a window seat. I'd be perched there with a book every chance I got! Enjoy your lovely room.
Very peaceful looking room. Love the window seat and built-in bookcases. Great way to add more storage.
lucky girl!!! I love your window seat!!!
Nice.
Very pleasant space. I too would adore to have such a window seat in the bedroom--good for you for making it happen. It would have been nice to see a shot of the seat including the view.
Oh, I meant to ask about your lovely side table and bureau--do you know where they originate from?
Thanks! My furniture belonged to my grandmother. She bought it in the '30s when she first was married. It makes me happy to know that a little bit of her surrounds me every day.
The build-ins turned out great. It adds such interest to the room. Your Grandmothers furniture is really beautiful!
Your room is adorable, and as I love white bedding I am smitten. Your grandmothers furniture are so gorgeous and lend it a warmth. I would sit all day with a book and a cat on my lap. Enjoy it.
