There's been a recall on two different flat screen TV mounts recently and we want to make sure you're in the clear. In the tech world, we can think of little that would be less disasterous than a tv flying off the wall and onto whatever lies below! See if the mount you, a friend or family member have is safe for continued usage.
The two models recalled are the The two models recalled are the Sanus Vision Mount model LF228-B1 (pictured after the jump) and the Simplicity model SLF2 (pictured above the jump). Both of these mounts are from Milestone AV Technologies and you can check out a guide to inspecting yours over at Milstone.
Apparently the elbow joints (the point that looks like it was destined to break eventually) are creating some slippage and depending on the weight of your television, they're either sinking, slumping or straight up causing televisions to jump ship all together.
