Some recalls news to share with owners of either the Sport v2 or Classic v1 Phil & Ted's strollers sold between May 2008 and July 2010. The recall is voluntary and concerns a risk of laceration or amputation while the strollers are being folded. Owners are instructed to order a free hinge cover.
You can find further information at the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website and on Phil & Ted's website where you can fill out a short form to have the hinge cover sent to you.
"Phil & Ted's has received three reports of incidents resulting in injuries to the adult users including a finger tip amputation and two reports of lacerations."

Nomade Express Slee...
Thanks for posting this. We have both the recalled Maclaren and (now, apparently) the v2 Sport. I've never been worried about amputation with the Maclaren, but I ordered the cover anyway. Now the P&T? Yeah, I've routinely felt like I was going to slice my finger off. Thanks for posting!
I have the dash and have had major finger-crushings when trying to open it too...
