Safety Recall: Selected Haba Infant Toys

There has been a recall of nineteen models of Haba puzzles, rattles, pacifier holders, and stroller toys, due to choking hazard caused by small parts coming off. Luckily, of the fifteen reported cases of parts coming off and being mouthed by young children, there have been no injuries. Habermass Corp. is offering replacement products or refunds to anyone who has bought any of the affected toys. More details after the jump.

A list of the nineteen toys affected by the recall is provided on the Health Canada recall page. The page doesn't provide photos, so you'll need to cross-reference the toy names at Haba's website. (The site won't allow specific links, so click on "Product Catalogue" and then "Infant and Junior Toys" to get to the right section.)

From the recall page:

For additional information, consumers may contact Habermass Corp. to receive a free replacement product or a full refund at (800) 468-6873 ext. 107 between 8 am and 5 pm ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's Web site at: www.HABAusa.com/safety.

Thanks to Dandelion Kids for the tip.
