The website is full of great products that she sells at her store, but what caught our attention were the little terrariums. Found tequila bottles are now filled with air plants, rocks, stone, and found objects. We also like the terrarium created in a whiskey snifter. Unfortunately those are no longer available.
Visit Fernseed or the website often as many of the products are one of a kind or available in very limited quantities.

beautiful terrariums!
Anyone have a good resource for information on making one of those things? I tried making two and they just shriveled up and died. which is strange they seemed moist enough. i think i need some directions to follow on my next attempt.
Yes! I would love to make some of these with my own odd or reclaimed bottles.
It seems crazy to buy one and have it shipping half-way across the country.
@adamwa -- there's a lot of info online regarding terrarium composition. Also a great resource (a guide to putting them together as well as ideas for designing your own little ecosystem) is _The New Terrarium_ by Tovah Martin.
I have a few which have been thriving for years. Light source is important (indirect is best) and also, making sure it's not _overly_ moist. They don't need too much water in their contained environment.
My next project is to do one in an absolutely huge apothecary jar I purchased from West Elm (in their bathroom section).
It's not just the greenery I like in these, it's the mini scaping using lots of nest found objects -- interesting bits of driftwood, seaglass, rocks, etc. Also a 'shroom I purchased from Mud Puppy. Fun stuff!
I'd really like to watch a video so I can see just how all of those plants and rocks are so carefully placed in the bottles with smaller necks...
