The more I see reclaimed furniture the more I'm inspired to introduce some into my home. The bedroom seems a great place to start! Here are 5 reclaimed headboards that are sure to inspire you!
1. Reclaimed Headboard photographed by Rolald Persson via Apartment Therapy. The white bedding looks so crisp against the natural raw wood and I love the white modern 'n" perched on top of the headboard!
2. Daniel Bodenmiller Rough-Hewn Reclaimed Headboard via HGTV. This reclaimed headboard has a natural modern refined look.
3. Dreamy Whites Reclaimed Doors Headboard via HGTV. Salvaged doors can look great as a headboard, just remember to coat them with a sealer to prevent flaky paint from falling into your bed!
4. DIY Reclaimed Headboard by Lindsey Smith via Design Sponge. Lindsey's DIY headboard is an inspiration. The wavy cut shape gives the reclaimed wood a softer look.
5. Reclaimed Headboard Plans from Ana White. If you are handy, Ana White offers plans for a reclaimed headboard. You can find reclaimed wood at most salvage yards.

So cozy! Love it.
I love when people go big-idea on the headboard. My own consists not of a "board" but of a sort of collage of a sheer black negligee, a film poster for Truffaut's Bed and Board (yes, the poster of them in bed, reading their books), a 1940s gentleman's framed silhouette, and a grouping of big red plastic marquee letters that spell out "123 BIZNASS." Maybe the only place I reclaimed any of that was from the antique mall, but it's so kickass. Don't overlook the power of a crazy frame.
I love the way these look, but can't get away from the idea of splinters in the pillows! A little too rough for me.
You've missed out a great one that I'm sure I saw on AT. It was an old office door saying 'private'. The home was in London, UK, and it was an old piano factory or something that had been redesigned by the owner who was a wheelchair-user. Know the one I mean?
I think you have links 4 and 5 switched.
Switched links 4 & 5!
