Q: I designed some wood legs for a 3'x6' piece of tempered glass that had been fabricated incorrectly and I need to get them made elsewhere. I need someone with access to a CNC machine to cut the curved shapes out of marine-grade plywood at the very least and if their price is affordable sand, laminate and finish the pieces. I already made the CAD file for the automated cutting process, so there's not much labor involved. I'd settle for just the cut pieces and finish the legs myself. Does anyone know any affordable wood shops?

I'm Kate. To clarify, the legs would not be turned, like the ones shown in the photo. They would be cut from sheets of marine-grade plywood in a 2-D curvy shape.
Places like ponoko.com and it's variants give you access to cutters and various types of materials... and then the finishing would be up to you. Is that what you were looking for?
I make furniture as well, and I've had great experiences with German at CarvArt in Brooklyn. He just cut out a floor lamp I designed in expensive bamboo plywood and did a fantastic job.

Thank you so much! I'll get pricing from all three of these!
i would suggest http://techshop.ws/index.html
they have all the tools you'll need to do pretty much ANY diy project.
i love it there. =)
If you're near Philadelphia and want to DIY, NextFab has some fabulous CNC machines and will teach you how to use them. Last I checked they were $70/month.
