Did you know discarded electronics contribute to over 70% of the toxins found in our nation's landfills? Comedy Central's Pro-Social initiative,
strives to raise awareness of this environmental crisis by providing information as well as easy, eco-conscience steps to take in our every day lives that might just help the world in the process. That's why Comedy Central's Address the Mess is partnering up with the New York Comedy Festival, Verizon Fios, and Sims Recycling Solutions to help New Yorkers Scrap their Crap.
Come out on Sunday, November 9th, from 10am-4pm as Address the Mess takes over the WEST part of Union Square between E 15 & E 16th Street (cars enter on E 16th Street). With the support of the Lower East Side Ecology Center, NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, and Con Edison, Address the Mess plans to raise awareness around this environmental crisis as well as collect all the unnecessary e-ware gathering dust in your homes.
