"99 bottles of beer on the wall..." ok- so maybe 99 is a bit excessive. What about just 4? And I guess if you're going to have bottles on your wall, they might as well be functional! This coat rack is made from the top portions of wine bottles rescued before going into the landfill...
They are handmade in Wisconsin. They also come with a set of four clasps that help secure it to the wall. We love the recycled concept of it, but we're not sure of the overall... Although, we're thinking it could look kind of fun in a beachy/coastal themed room... what do you think? Hot or not?

I bet you could never get a coat to stay put on one of those hooks....looks slippery.
It's hard to tell if they will actually hold things or will coats etc. slip off?
I'd worry about cracking/chipping from putting heavy stuff on them, but they could be cool for a bathroom to hang towels on.
Overall, I like it!
While they are technically recycled bottles, it is a bit of a stretch to think of this as being a help to the environment (more like adaptive re-use). My question is why didn't they cut the bottles at an angle allowing the 'hooks' to point upward?
Seems like it should be for plants somehow, although I really like the towel idea, too. Not such a great idea for coats, though.
Ouch... all I can hear is glass shattering sooner or later. Does anyone have any experience with these or other glass coat hooks? Maybe there is a reason glass is not a popular hook choice...
Just because you can make something, doesn't mean you should.
treat it as wall art
That was my immediate thought, too, Devyn. If they were angled, you could use the whole assemblage as a vase as well.
