While it doesn't look easy on the feet, this pallet floor is certainly easier on the environment. You probably wouldn't want something like this in your home, but a shed or cabin? It might be just the rustic look you're looking for.

If you've ever tried working with pallets, you'll know that they are tough and made to take a beating. Deconstructing pallets into floor is one way to make a rustic and long-lasting floor while reusing something that otherwise gets trashed.

You could also easily even them out, sand them down, and varnish them so they're much easier on the feet. I've seen several images of just such a thing floating around the internet.
pretty sure you've posted about this exact same project before
Beautiful, but looks like a room of stubbed toes to me! :(
Looks like a good idea poorly executed. Having boards of different heights is going to lead to countless trips, spills, faceplants. Should have run each board through a planer to match the thickness.
I'm a big fan of upcycling, but I'd be worried about splinters with a floor like this...
@franklindean, I don't think so. You must have seen it on another blog.
Not a big fan of wooden floors but this looks stunning. The shadows of the uneven boards really give it a rich warm feel.
I don't think most pallets are particularly durable. Add in the chemicals they can be soaked in (which is now off gassing in your home) and the floors being incredibly poorly done (talk about stubbed toe central) and I can't see this project being a good thing in a home. Half the boards look like they're already cracked. I wonder how long it'll stand up.
I think it could be a neat idea but this one is really rather badly executed.
