Made by a Canadian design collective known as Castor Canadensis, The Recycled Tube Light comes in two flavors: a slightly longer one for hanging horizontally, and a smaller desktop version that can sit upright on a table or on the floor.

A great use of old fluorescent tube lights, these lamps employ them as the light casing, not the light source. While these are outfitted with a standard light bulb, a CFL DIY version would be a great way to re purpose those old lights instead of throwing them away.

Lengths of 15 inchs, 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft and 8 ft are available. Depending on the model they are capable of hanging horizontally, vertically or free standing. The used florescents are from architecturally significant buildings.
