Did you watch the Golden Globes on Sunday? I personally love a good awards show. As I was scanning the red carpet fashions, a couple color trends caught my eye. Some actresses were eschewing black for navy. And on the lighter end, there was a handful in the palest pink-nearly-ivory blush-toned gowns. After tracking down some examples, the hues make a chic pair in decor, too!
With navy-clad Sofia Vergara sitting at a table with blush-covered Julie Bowen, you could see how complementary the colors are. Structured, classic navy gets a pinch of femininity from soft blush, and the navy keeps the pink from getting too girly. What do you think?

Madonna wore the best dress!
I didn't watch, but I caught a few minutes of a fashion wrapup, and it seemed like the lavender/purple family was big this year.
Did you see they did this over at Savvy Chic?
Little more thought through and better comparisons... :)
