My dining chairs are black, a bold change from my previous ones, which were brown. But look how cheerful red chairs can be! Whether injecting a dash of whimsy into even the starkest monochromatic interiors, or popping against a complementary cool blue, red chairs are making me reconsider my staid choices.
What color are your dining chairs? Would you choose red?

First and last chairs.....want!
Looks good.
I've got red upholstered dining chairs and I love the splash of color they make over the mostly-navy-blue tribal rug under our dining table. It all works with neutral curtains and walls, and they serve to define the area much the way an accent wall would -- intense localized color to draw the eye.
In my old apartment, I painted my plain ikea chairs red, and I loved them - http://www.flickr.com/photos/lmcwethy/3504695857/in/set-72157610613398380
Red chairs seem right.
Delish!
I have 4 red acrylic barstools in the kitchen and they are always the first thing complimented when people come over for the first time. I LOVE them!
Everybody loves a strong red element when they see it but few dare. They look fantastic
Anyone know where the red chairs that are on wheels are from? Or something similiar?
I have 4 lacquered red schoolhouse chairs I bought to $450 each when Hold Everythign was going out of business. I wish I had bought 6-8 of them. They are super comfortable and look great, although they don't quite go with the antique mahogany buffet in my dining room.
Oops they were only $50 each and have held up well, I would never spend $450 on a wooden chair
There's nothing like red for getting compliments.
@KCinSF, You may see a chair you like in a manufacturer's catalog at a bar stools store. Poker-game chairs shown in such catalogs are similarly castered, with adjustable height and tilt. They are very comfortable dining chairs.
